PIERATT’S SHOWROOMS AND DELIVERIES ARE OPERATING
We are dedicated to providing our services to you on products that help you stay healthy and comfortable at home, and more importantly preserve food and medicine, clean dishes and clothing, and cook meals – all in accordance with state and local guidelines and mandates.
We take the health and safety of our employees and customers very seriously. We have educated employees company-wide on CDC and local guidelines for proper social distancing and best practice protocols. In addition, we've enhanced cleaning regimens at all levels of the organization; particularly with regard to frequently touched surfaces like countertops, door handles, telephones, and computer workstations. The sections below detail with more specificity the steps we've taken to provide you with as safe a shopping, purchasing and delivery experience as possible.
WALK-IN STORE VISITS
Our showrooms are open for in-person consulting on home appliances Monday through Sunday and retain normal open hours on those days. Showrooms will close at 6PM at all locations until July 1, 2020 to allow for additional cleaning and disinfecting of our showrooms. To maintain a safe shopping environment, store managers will be closely monitoring themselves and their staff to ensure proper health. Associates reporting or showing signs of illness will be asked to stay home or sent home immediately for quarantine. Store displays, workstations and common areas are being wiped down every three to four hours. Although the number of shoppers in our stores rarely reaches the 33% occupancy threshold limited by Governor Beshear, we will be limiting the number of people in the store to 20 at a time. We apologize in advance for any delay this may cause in accessing the store. Finally, we will be observing the no-handshake, 6-foot social distancing recommendation by the CDC and ask that customers do the same while shopping.
While our in-store teams will continue to take every precaution to ensure you have a safe shopping experience, we encourage all customers to call ahead and take advantage of our shopper-friendly website and expanded text to chat services to determine the best products for your needs before visiting a physical showroom. IN-HOME DELIVERY
We will continue deliveries until further notice and have taken several steps to ensure safety for you and our teams.
Each customer is called the morning of delivery and asked if anyone in the home has expressed or is showing signs of illness. Additionally, delivery teams may call 30 minutes before delivery to verify the delivery appointment. In the event that someone in the home has expressed or is showing signs of sickness, we ask that the customer reschedules their delivery or accepts a non-contact, curbside delivery.
In the warehouse, managers are monitoring all delivery teams closely to ensure anyone expressing or exhibiting signs of illness is removed from deliveries and immediately sent home for mandatory quarantine.
In your home, delivery teams will be wearing gloves and will work expeditiously to complete your delivery without unnecessary delays. If you prefer delivery associates to utilize facial cover and/or shoe covers, simply let associates know. Also, delivery teams will be observing the 6ft. social distancing and no-handshake guidelines from the CDC and local officials. We respectfully ask that our customers do the same.
