I had purchased this unit for St Vincent De Paul food pantry to use for a, once a month, food distribution for the needy. Unit was purchased about November 1st 2015 in January of 2016 the compressor went out causing the loss of a fair amount of food. Unit has only been used in the refrigerator mode and only gets accessed about 3 times a month. The unit was just out of warranty, our dealer contacted Frigidaire and they agreed to replace it, but before that happened they went back on the offer and said they wouldn't because it was considered commercial use since it was for St Vincent De Paul. So far our dealer has no luck getting them to change there mind. First of all a little over one year is not a very good life span, even if it would have been in commercial use, which it wasn't! It was used less than if it was in residential use. Yes it was out of warranty ( 1 year) but I would think a company like Frigidaire would have stood behind it. We used Money that would have gone to the needy so we could serve them a better selection of fresh food, now we have to take more money to buy a new unit. I just don't feel this is right.

Unit has given us trouble from the beginning. It's supposed to be frostless, but it freezes up. I've had warranty work done for a faulty thermostat because it wasn't keeping food frozen.

With the exception of the thermostat going out and all my food unthawing, the unit has the refrigerator and freezer option
